Lynsay Sands was raised in Southern Ontario, Canada. Sands is perhaps best known for writing the Argeneau series, which focus in on a modern family of blood sucking vampires and different characters within. She won the 2000 P.E.A.R.L Best Paranormal Anthology for her Mistletoe & Magic books in addition to having placed for the Favorite Funnies awards list by All About Romance. award (the Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature) and also been nominated several times. She has placed three times in the awards for the Reviewers International Organization and placed three times in the bracket for the Awards For Excellence. Sands has been nominated for the Romantic Times Best Paranormal Romance awards as well as the Romantic Times Best Historical Romance awards. Sands’ books have been translated into over six languages and are published and read in over twelve countries. Her books have made the Bestsellers lists for Waldenbooks, USA Today, Barnes & Noble and The New York Times. She has written for three publishing houses in total, Dorchester, HarperCollin, and Kensington. Sands has written historical as well as paranormal focused novels. She is known for her take on the paranormal, contemporary and the supernatural and the humorous take she often writes in these books. Lynsay Sands is a Canadian author who has own many awards and written over 30 books as well as anthologies.
